My bed is AMAZING!
Haha, there's nothing like sleeping in your own bed. I'm so grateful to be home, I've missed everyone, especially my cat. She looks up to me, eyes wide with disbelief. Shes asleep now, by my side, and she's gorgeous. It's amazing how you leave and come back, and your animals are a different size than when you left. But, they aren't. They don't yoyo up and down a scale like humans.
The drive was good. It's very rare I travel during the night. But, I wasn't tired, and I sang the whole 2 1/2 hour drive. Not just sing, BELT. :)
This weekend is going to be a nice little vacation, because school is crazy! This past week was the midterm for my 17th century theatre class. We had to translate a monologue from Racine into English, at least 25 lines, and then we had to read a monologue of at least 50. Intense.
Next week, On Tuesday, i have a 500 word paragraph on the topic for my 10 page Survey of French Literature I paper, and then Thursday is a debate on whether Racism is worse in France or in the United States for my Advanced Conversation class. Then Friday, I have my midterm due. I have to choose 3 pictures that relate to personal relationships, whether it be friends or family, and write ten sentences for each pictures. I email those to my group and we post the finished project on flickr. I'll post a link when it's all over and done. And then this Monday, I have some time consuming on-line homework to do for my Managerial Accounting class. Oh yeah, and a 2 page review of Racine's Phaedra that I just found out about today. Wow. I'm glad I wrote this out. It'll help me organize my tasks.
I'm a list maker. You? You know what will take your mind off things? Try to list all 50 states, and you'll go crazy (you're cheating if you know the song). You'll get to 47 and really go insane. :)
Well, I think I'm going to start on my paper for Lit. I'm considering doing it on Moliere's Le Medcin Malgre Lui (The Doctor in spite of Himself) because I already know it a bit, and really like it. Moliere's hilarious. If I do this right, I can use it as my introduction for the actual paper.
Tomorrow I'm going to help Mom clean the house 'cause she's having a guest. Well, I have things to do before bed. Bon nuit, tout le monde!
